Coming Soon - Super Soft Rope Leads

A little while ago I head the pleasure of spending the day with Hannah who ran a lovely dog accessory company called Lunas loft. After deciding that she was going to change her focus to canine physio and fitness (go check her out on Instagram @caninephysioandfitness) and training (Instagram @whatsyourstorydogtraining) she was looking for someone to teach how to make her rope leads.

Now, I always used to have rope leads for my Labradors but was put off by the roughness and bulkiness of them, my first rope lead for my small dog came from Hannah, and it totally converted me. She used a super soft rope that was just brilliant, it was comfortable in your hand, was available in different sizes and colours and best of all – was machine washable! I’m so excited to get to work with this rope myself now. The super soft rope leads are made with traditional splicing techniques used by sailors to create a strong and reliable lead for your dog. Whipping is done with no glue and sewn into the rope to create a strong fixture around the splice for extra security, not using glue means that if your dog accidently chews the lead (which we do not encourage but totally know does happen haha) then there is nothing toxic that could make them poorly. The rope is dyed before spinning which allows you to pop it in the washing machine like all of our other accessories without the it losing its colour.

This rope makes the leads a little bit pricier than others you may see on the market but in my opinion, it is totally worth it – try it for yourself and I’m sure you will agree. The super soft rope leads will be going on sale at 6pm on Tuesday 31st January and I cannot wait for you to try them and see for yourself.

Overtime I plan to introduce more colours and to create the ability for you to customise them with your choice of rope colour, whipping colour, length, style, and hardware (such as colour and adding a ring to clip accessories to).
