Paw Friendly Places - Harpers Coffee House Adderbury

What a lovely little coffee shop, and to say that the staff love dogs is an understatement haha.
This coffee shop is perfect for dogs, with bowls of water and plenty room around, and under the tables. Much like the Tardis, it looks small from the outside but opens up to be very spacious on the inside. There is bar seating in the main entrance, tables through the back and even more seating upstairs, you really are spoilt for choice. If your dog would be more comfortable, or you just fancy enjoying the sunshine when the weather gets better, then there is a gorgeous outside area too. Harpers also offers takeaway if you’re not quite ready for your dog to sit in a coffee shop.
I didn’t sample any of their savoury food, but saw plenty of it being brought out and it looked incredible. A fantastic range of breakfasts, sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, salads, tarts and sausage rolls. I had the white forest cake and oh my gosh it was incredible, paired with my go-to oat milk hot chocolate. This coffee shop caters for many different choices and dietary requirements including vegetarian and gluten free options. You can always contact them in advance of going to find out about requirements.
The staff could not have been nicer, very bubbly and always greeted with a smile they could not do enough for you and were lovely to chat to. There is plenty of on road parking around Harpers, and Adderbury itself is gorgeous to walk around. If you fancy a bit of a longer walk then Adderbury is surrounded by public footpaths, there is a 3km village trail, a 6km circular walk .The 6km circular walk takes you through undulating farmland, past stunning cottages and along beautiful millstreams; it is also signposted which is very helpful! More information on these walks can be found on the Adderbury village website www.adderbury.org. As always, please respect peoples land and properties, and stick to the countryside code if you do decide to do any of these.
So what could be better than a lovely countryside walk with your best friend, then settling in to a warm, cosy coffee shop for a bite to eat? Or if you're an early bird, you can always call in for a breakfast bap and coffee before your walk. Either way, I'm sure that the staff will welcome you warmly and look after you.
All the love.
